“It was all a dream,” Katie sighed, picking up her bouquet of blue and yellow roses. Nadira came in, smile on her face.

 “The wedding’s off!” Nadira said. Katie looked up at the ex-bride. “Go get your man, Katie. I’ll talk to everyone else. I’m with Trip.” Katie smiled at Nadira and went to get her Lucas.

Katie ran into the room she knew Lucas was in. It was the dorm room they shared when they went to the TF Academy as teens.

“Lucas!?” she called. In her mind she shushed herself and went onto the balcony.
